Beer Engineers, the innovative Alabama brewery behind such beers as the Peanut Butter Porter and Velocity Imperial Ale, is pleased to announce the acquisition of premises for their future production brewery and taproom restaurant in downtown Birmingham. Located opposite the new Barons stadium and Railroad Park, the historic Wood Wade building, built circa 1932, is at the corner of First Ave South and 14th Street South in the rapidly expanding vibrant new entertainment district surrounding the area.

Birmingham, AL, 35233.
This facility will allow Beer Engineers to pivot from contract brewing through Back Forty in Gadsden, AL to full production brewing at our new location. In addition to a full production brewery, we will also have a Taproom Restaurant open to the public serving the full line up of Beer Engineers beers as well as Taproom only seasonals and limited release beers. An innovative first for the Birmingham market, Beer Engineers is planning to serve a limited upscale menu of gourmet dining items ranging from easy to share appetizers to entrees specially designed to pair with our unique beers.
Beer Engineers is excited to join the explosively growing Birmingham craft beer market.
Renovations to the facility will begin early this fall with a planned opening in spring of 2014.
